[Problem] To provide a tire (2) of which the quietness and durability can be improved without comprising handling stability. [Solution] This tire (2) is provided with a pair of beads (12), a carcass (14) spanning between both of the beads (12), and a pair of strips (24) extending substantially outward in the radial direction from the beads (12) along the carcass (14). The beads (12) are provided with a core (34), a first apex (36), and a second apex (38). The carcass (14) is provided with a carcass ply (44), and a main part (46) and a folded part (48) are formed in the carcass ply (44). The folded part (48) is positioned between the first apex (36) and the second apex (38). The folded part (48) is in contact with the main part (46) further radially outward than is an outer end (42) of the first apex (36). Either the positions of outer ends (64) of the strips (24) coincide with positions (PB) indicating maximum width in the radial direction, or the outer ends (64) of the strips (24) are positioned further radially inward than the positions (PB) indicating maximum width.
