The present invention discloses a knob type switch structure, and relates to the technical field of switches. The structure is provided to prevent a knob cap from getting loosened or damaged. The knob type switch structure comprises a switch body and a knob cap. The switch body comprises a knob column for operating a switch. One side of the knob cap is provided with a knob hole. The knob column penetrates through the knob hole. A connecting sleeve is arranged between the knob column and the knob hole. The connecting sleeve can transmit a torque applied by the knob cap to the knob column. The sidewall of the connecting sleeve is depressed inwards to form an elastic arm. The elastic arm is in elastic contact with the sidewall of the knob column. The knob type switch structure is used for controlling the switch.
