The invention relates to a special programmable power source for a pole grounding resistance measuring device. The programmable power source comprises an AC/DC conversion circuit, a battery power source, a high-frequency/power frequency circuit, a pulse width modulation circuit, a DC/AC conversion circuit, a filter circuit, a protection circuit, a single-chip programmable circuit and a current sampling circuit. With the special programmable power source for the pole grounding resistance measuring device of the invention adopted, voltage amplitude can be changed automatically according to the magnitude of injected current; and the inductive reactance of an overhead grounding wire can be improved by using a high frequency advantage, and the shunts of the current can be decreased.
