The invention provides a woodcutting robot. The woodcutting robot comprises a frame, four steering cranks, first hydraulic motors and the like, wherein the frame consists of a V-shaped rack in the middle and flat plates on two sides; the four steering cranks are respectively arranged at four corners of the frame; each steering crank consists of a crank on the upper part and a rotating shaft under the crank; each crank is fixedly connected with the corresponding rotating shaft; each rotating shaft is rotatably connected with the frame; the lower end of each rotating shaft is connected with the corresponding first hydraulic motor; each first hydraulic motor is horizontally mounted on the lower part of the corresponding rotating shaft; an output shaft of each first hydraulic motor is directly connected with a driving wheel; and each steering crank is driven and controlled by the corresponding first hydraulic cylinder. Trees are felled by a cutting manipulator capable of moving flexibly, the woodcutting robot has relatively high degree of automation, and therefore, a large number of manpower resources are saved.
