The grid electrode and the metal oxide layer are oppositely arranged. The protective layer is arranged on the metal oxide layer. The source electrode and the drain electrode make contact with the metal oxide layer through openings of the protective layer respectively. The part of the grid electrode or one side edge of the metal oxide is overlapped with at least one of the openings. The display panel and the display device have the effects of reducing the feedforward voltage of the pixel or improving the aperture opening ratio, and therefore display quality can be improved.
