The invention relates to a filter type belt conveyor, which comprises a No.1, a No.2, a No.3, a No.4 and a No.5 belt conveyor that are arranged successively along the transmission direction; the conveying speed of the No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 and No.5 belt conveyor increases successively; an inclined belt conveyor is disposed above the No.5 belt conveyor; a magnetic belt conveyor is disposed above the discharge end of the No.4 belt conveyor, and is arranged to parallel to the inclined belt conveyor; the discharge end of the magnetic belt conveyor is positioned above the feed end of the inclined belt conveyor; the feed end of the No.4 belt conveyor is hinged on a frame; and an elevating mechanism is disposed under the discharge end of the No.4 belt conveyor for moving the No.4 belt conveyor up and down.
