The invention discloses a medicinal preparation for preventing and treating postpartum diseases of sows and a preparation method thereof. The medicinal preparation is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of lincomycin hydrochloride, 2-6 parts of ciprofloxacin lactate, 1-5 parts of sodium trimethoxypyrimidine lactate, 8-12 parts of lonicera japonica, 5-10 parts of houttuynia cordata, 1-5 parts of liquidambar formosana, 20-30 parts of medical stone, 2-5 parts of fructo-oligose and 0.5-2 parts of citric acid. The components are compatible and synergized to stimulate great appetite of sows, so that postpartum feed intake reduction and occurrence of postpartum diseases and mastitis can be effectively prevented, sow diestrus can be reduced, and sow utilization can be improved. Furthermore, the incidence rate of yellow and white scour of piglets can be reduced, healthy growth of piglets can be promoted, the ecological balance of intestinal flora can be regulated, and the side effect that intestinal intestine bacteria are disturbed by antibiotics can be greatly reduced.
