The invention discloses a washing machine which comprises a water containing tub, a drainage overflow pipe and a drainage pump. The water containing tub is provided with a drainage overflow hole communicated with the drainage overflow pipe. The drainage pump is used for driving water in the water containing tub to be drained out of the drainage overflow pipe. According to the washing machine, the drainage function and the overflow function are integrated through the drainage overflow hole and the drainage overflow pipe, so that the structure can be simplified, production is convenient, and the cost is reduced.
