Embodiments of the present invention provide a device management method and apparatus. The method comprises: first, a device management apparatus determines an associated device of a first base station, the associated device being a device connected to the first base station directly or a device connected to the first base station through an intermediate device; and then, the device management apparatus performs joint operation and maintenance management on the first base station and the associated device. The method provides a method for determining the associated device and the device management apparatus performs joint management on the first base station and the determined associated device, so the management efficiency of the device management apparatus is improved.
