The invention discloses flame-retardant chinlon blended fabric and a making method thereof. The flame-retardant chinlon blended fabric is obtained by blending chinlon 56 fiber with cotton fiber or blending chinlon 56 fiber with flame-retardant viscose fiber, a mass ratio of the chinlon 56 fiber to the cotton fiber is 15-80:85-20, and a mass ratio of the chinlon 56 fiber to the viscose fiber is 15-80:85-20. The making method includes that the novel chinlon 56 fiber which has high flame retardance is used mainly, and the blended fabric high in chinlon content can be made by blending the chinlon 56 fiber with the cotton fiber or the flame-retardant viscose fiber and has high flame retardance. Compared with conventional chinlon blended fabric with chinlon content not greater than 12% generally, the flame-retardant chinlon blended fabric high in chinlon content has higher strength, comfort and softness, and a new concept is provided for new application fields and flame-retardant studying of the chinlon blended flame-retardant fabric.
