According to an address setting method of a wireless communication system (1) of the present invention, an HEMS controller (5) and an HEMS terminal (7) each generate an address on the basis of an address prefix included in a router advertisement of a smart meter (3), and the HEMS terminal (7) sets, as the path for a packet addressed to an HEMS server (13), a path passing through the HEMS controller (5). The HEMS controller (5) then replaces the address prefix of the transmission source address of the packet addressed to the HEMS server (13) with the address prefix of the HEMS controller (5) itself, thereby performing an NAT setting.
