The invention relates to a control method and system for realizing current unbalance of a parallel four-terminal direct current transmission system. Converters on an inversion side are selected when controlled, one is a main converter, and the other is an auxiliary converter; for the main converter, a corresponding trigger pulse is generated according to a superposition value of a corresponding voltage error signal and an attached unbalance signal to perform trigger control on the main converter; for the auxiliary converter, a corresponding trigger pulse is generated according to a difference of a corresponding voltage error signal and the attached unbalance signal to perform trigger control on the auxiliary converter. The converters on the inversion side can be controlled effectively with the control method, unbalanced operation of the current of the parallel four-terminal direct current transmission system can be realized, free distribution of electric energy of the direct current transmission system is realized, and the electric energy transmission efficiency is guaranteed.
