The invention discloses a magnetic head, comprising a substrate and a read-write sensor, wherein the substrate is provided with a tail edge, a front edge opposite to the tail edge, an air bearing face connected with the tail edge and the front edge, and a bottom face opposite to the air bearing face; and the read-write sensor is embedded in the tail edge, the bottom face is provided with a plurality of first magnetic head contact points electrically connected with the read-write sensor for being electrically connected with a cantilever part of a head-gimbal assembly. While functions of the magnetic head are added, the magnetic head connection contact points are distributed reasonably, the magnetic head welding difficulty is thus reduced, and the read-write performance of the magnetic head is improved.
