The invention relates to a multifunctional infrared inspecting instrument for a photovoltaic power station, and overcomes a problem that daily inspection of photovoltaic power stations at present wastes time and labor and is low in inspection efficiency and poor in inspection effects. A handle is fixed in an inclined manner to the lower part of the main body of the inspecting instrument. The lower end surface of the handle is provided with an infrared switch and a photo taking switch. The front end surface of the main body of the inspecting instrument is provided with a display screen and operation buttons. The rear end of the main body of the inspecting instrument is provided with a photo taking lens and an infrared probe. The side wall of the main body of the inspecting instrument is provided with a USB interface and a WIFI port. A single chip microcomputer is disposed in the main body of the inspecting instrument. The output end of the photo taking lens and the output end of the infrared probe are connected to the input end of the single chip microcomputer. The output end of the single chip microcomputer is connected to input ends of the display screen, the USB interface and the WIFI port. The inspecting instrument allows operation and maintenance persons to detect and eliminate a hidden danger in time, increases the system efficiency of the photovoltaic power station, maintains the optimum power generation state, and has advantages of a simple structure, convenient manufacturing and a low cost.
