The invention provides a mining conveyor belt safety control system, wherein a belt sway switch is connected with a wireless communication unit. The belt sway switch transmits a first control signal to a PLC controller through the wireless communication unit. When the belt sway switch detects running deviation of the conveyor belt, the belt sway switch transmits the first control signal to the PLC controller, and the PLC controller makes a conveyor belt motor to be switched off. A pull rope switch transmits a second control signal to the PLC controller. The PLC controller can receive the first control signal and the second control signal and makes the conveyor belt to be switched off. A state display unit displays the switching states of the belt sway switch and the pull rope switch. The mining conveyor belt safety control system provided by the invention automatically switch off the motor when running deviation of the conveyor belt occurs, and furthermore switching-off operation can be directly performed manually through the pull rope switch, thereby ensuring safe operation of the conveyor belt.
