The invention relates to a laser lighting source adopting optical waveguides. The laser lighting source comprises at least six blue laser diodes with the wavelength being 450 nm, output ends of the blue laser diodes are in abut joint with input ends of corresponding optical fibers through corresponding lenses, and the output ends of the optical fibers are in abut joint with input ends of the corresponding optical waveguides on quartz substrate waveguide chips; each quartz substrate waveguide chip comprises at least six waveguides, and a light path is formed by gathering the six waveguides at the emergent ends; the emergent ends of the quartz substrate waveguide chips directly face a prism coated with yellow emitting phosphor, and linear emergent light of the prism is converted into white light with the uniform diffusion divergence angle being 40 degrees; the blue laser diodes, the optical fibers, the quartz substrate waveguide chips and the prism are fixedly packaged into a whole body through glue, and the emergent face of the prism is arranged outside the glue; and the laser lighting source is small in size, can be conveniently and independently packaged, can improve vibration resistance and damage resistance and is free of dust and impurity interference.
