The invention relates to a making method of a cotton fabric having conductive and electromagnetic shielding properties. The making method of the cotton fabric includes the steps that the cotton fabric is soaked in a mixed solution of aniline and hydrochloric acid, then, the ammonium persulfate solution is added for reaction, and the polyaniline/cotton fabric is obtained; the polyaniline/cotton fabric is placed into the silver nitrate solution for sensitization, and the sensitized polyaniline/cotton fabric is obtained; the silver plating solution is prepared, and then is added to the sensitized polyaniline/cotton fabric obtained in step 2, ultrasonic reaction is conducted, and the cotton fabric having conductive and electromagnetic shielding properties is obtained. The cotton fabric has good conductivity with 26.7 megohm per square, has high corrosion resistance, and has excellent electromagnetic shielding effect with 40 decibels to 80 decibels.
