The invention provides a method and system for testing the receiving sensitivity of luminous power of intelligent equipment, and the method comprises the steps that a light signal generation device transmits a GOOSE message to the tested intelligent equipment through an optical fiber link and a light attenuation meter on the optical fiber link; the intelligent equipment generates a level signal according to the MOOSE message; response monitoring equipment detects the level signal; the response monitoring equipment transmits an instruction signal to the light signal generation device according to the level signal; the light signal generation device adjusts the optical power of the light attenuation meter according to the instruction signal; the light signal generation device transmits the MOOSE message to a to-be-tested optical port of the tested intelligent equipment through the optical fiber link and the adjusted light attenuation meter; a warning signal is outputted when the response monitoring equipment cannot detect the level signal; and an optical power meter measures the optical power of the light signal generation device according to the warning signal after passing through the light attenuation meter. The method achieves the precise measurement of the optical power receiving sensitivity of the intelligent equipment.
