The invention discloses an oil separator and an oil separation barrel thereof. The oil separation barrel comprises a barrel body and baffles, wherein a bottom plate of the barrel body has a first position which corresponds to an exhaust port of an exhaust pipe of the oil separator; and at least one baffle surrounds the outer side of the first position. Airflow running along the inner wall of the bottom of the oil separation barrel can be stopped through the baffles, so that flowing speed of the airflow is reduced, airflow concentration is also reduced, the flowing speed of the airflow is uniformized, and oil-gas separation efficiency of an oil separation filter screen is improved. The oil separation barrel has the characteristics of simple structure, low cost and high separation efficiency.
