The invention relates to a fiber web machine forming section (10), comprising a plurality of forming units, including: a first forming unit (24) for at least forming a first web layer (12, 13) and having at least a net (16); and at least one secondary forming unit (34), for forming a second web layer (15) and including a headbox (35) having a weir plate opening (21), a top net (36) running in the form of a ring and having a running segment (47) collaborating with the net of the first forming unit, and a lower guide roller (59) located in the ring of the top net (36) and followed by a dewatering device (50), wherein the headbox of the at least one secondary forming unit is arranged to supply a slurry to the surface (S) of the top net after the lower guide roller. The weir plate opening of the headbox is arranged to be located between a region (45) of the lower guide roller and the first forming unit. Further, the invention further relates to a secondary forming unit for a multilayer forming unit of a fiber web machine.
