The invention relates to a supporting device of a bridge pier with a variable section, which comprises first panels and second panels, wherein each first panel comprises a first steel plate and a plurality of channel bars which are fixed on one side of the first steel plate in a crossed mode; each second panel comprises a second steel plate and a plurality of channel bars which are fixed on one side of the second steel plate in a crossed mode; two first panels and two second panels are alternately connected to enclose a closed structure, and one sides of the channel bars are positioned at the outer side; the two first panels are perpendicular to the ground; and the two second panels are inclined inwards. The supporting device is simple in structure and convenient to operate; the gradient of the variable section can be freely adjusted according to actual requirements; and meanwhile, the device is relatively low in processing cost and relatively high in use universality.
