Provided are: a thermoplastic resin sheet which keeps good moldability, practical strength and seal strength to a lid material, has a good water vapor barrier property and excellent notch cracking performance that is applicable to various notch forms, and has an excellent interlayer adhesion property; and a container produced from the thermoplastic resin sheet. A thermoplastic resin sheet which contains a mixed resin layer containing a styrene resin and an olefin resin as resin components, wherein the contents of the styrene resin and the olefin resin in the thermoplastic resin sheet are 70 to 95 mass% and 30 to 5 mass%, respectively, and the styrene resin in the mixed resin layer contains polystyrene having a mass average molecular weight of 270000 to 370000.
