The invention discloses a preparation method of zirconium silicate-covered carbon black based on mesoporous collapse. The preparation method takes an inorganic zirconium salt and a template agent as raw materials which are prepared into a template agent-zirconium oxide sol; after gelatinization, the template agent is carbonized through pre-firing to obtain primary powder; the primary powder is added into silica sol and then is mixed with the silica sol, and the mixture is gelatinized to obtain secondary powder; the secondary powder is calcined under a non-oxidization atmosphere to obtain the zirconium silicate-covered carbon black material. Furthermore, the invention further discloses a product prepared by using the preparation method above. The dense covering of the carbon black is realized through utilizing collapse of a mesoporous structure, and a new way is provided for preparing the zirconium silicate-covered carbon black; the covering rate is effectively improved, and a subsequent oxidization problem of the carbon black can be prevented, so that the zirconium silicate-covered carbon black product with the obvious black color is obtained.
