The invention concerns a maintenance station (10) for casting moulds (13) with a handling device (14) on which a spraying device (16) is disposed, it being possible for the spraying device (16) to spray a cleaning medium onto a surface of at least one casting mould (13), the cleaning medium being a mixture of compressed air and abrasive particles. The invention also concerns a maintenance method for a casting mould (13) in a maintenance station (10).
