The invention discloses a rotating speed measurement system. The system comprises a single chip microcomputer. An input terminal of the single chip microcomputer is connected to a keyboard circuit and a sensor circuit. An output terminal of the single chip microcomputer is connected to a driving circuit, a clock circuit and a reset circuit. The driving circuit is also connected to a display. An AT89C51 single chip microcomputer is taken as a control core. A hall sensor is used to pick a detected signal. The hall sensor outputs one pulse signal for each circle rotation. Through using the high processing capability of the single chip microcomputer for a pulse digital signal and applying a full digitalization structure, a measurement scope and measurement precision are greatly increased.
