The present invention provides an oriented silicon steel insulation coating, and the insulation coating is prepared from the following ingredients by mass: 5 to 35% of metal magnesium dihydrogen phosphate; 2 to 15% of nickel phosphate; 0.5 to 2% of sodium tetraborate; 3 to 10% of colloidal SiO2; 3 to 15% of nano TiO2; 15 to 35% of organic resin; 5 to 40% of an organic acid and balance of deionized water. The insulation coating is compact and bright in surface and free of toxic chromium, can significantly improve the coating moisture resistance, corrosion resistance and sintering resistance, also has good electrical insulation, adhesion and blanking property and higher lamination factor, and is simple in preparation method and low in requirement on equipment, and industrialization is easy to realize.
