The invention relates to provide a vehicle headlamp which can solve a trouble felt by a driver when a dimming control is performed in which a subregion that is selectively set to an irradiation state or a non-irradiation state in a light distribution pattern moves. A light distribution pattern formed by irradiation of light from a plurality of light sources for a headlamp provided in a vehicle includes a plurality of regions (PA1 to PA5) each of which are irradiated by two or more corresponding light sources of the plurality of light sources. An irradiation region is controlled so that at least one of the plurality of regions corresponds to an object moving the light distribution pattern, and the two or more light sources corresponding to the irradiation region are turned on with a time difference.
