The method comprises: receiving a first download request; generating a first progress value according to the first download request, acquiring a video address corresponding to a video information identifier to be downloaded, and sending a second download request carrying the video address to a video library platform; if video information returned by the video library platform is being received, acquiring a first download data volume of the received video information in real time, and updating the first progress value according to a first update value corresponding to the first download data volume till accomplishing downloading to obtain a corresponding second progress value; and when the video information is uploaded to a cloud disk corresponding to a destination address, acquiring a first upload data volume of the uploaded video information in real time, and updating the second progress value according to a second update value corresponding to the first upload data volume till accomplishing uploading to obtain a corresponding third progress value.
