The invention discloses a television cabinet. The television cabinet comprises a metal rack body which is made of a tempered alloy material. The alloy material is prepared from 1%-2% of B, 0.8% of P, 0.7% of Co, 0.4% of Cs, 0.9% of Au, 0.7% of Hf and the balance Cu and inevitable impurities. The method for tempering the alloy material comprises the following steps that (1) tempering is conducted for the first time at the temperature of 505 DEG C for six hours, and then air cooling is conducted till the temperature of the alloy material reaches the indoor temperature; (2) tempering is conducted for the second time at the temperature of 555 DEG C for five hours, and then air cooling is conducted till the temperature of the alloy material reaches the indoor temperature; and (3) tempering is conducted for the third time at the temperature of 605 DEG C for four hours, and then air cooling is conducted till the temperature of the alloy material reaches the indoor temperature. The metal rack body of the television cabinet is low in weight, high in strength, resistant to corrosion, abrasion and oxidization, good in weather resistance and long in service time.
