The invention discloses an inspection door of a nuclear power plant air handling unit and a manufacturing method thereof and belongs to the field of nuclear power plant air handling units. The inspection door comprises a door frame, a sealing strip, a door panel, hinges and bolt assemblies. The door frame is an annular frame formed by welding four flanged steel materials in an end-to-end mode in sequence. An annular groove is formed in an annual frame surface of one side of the door frame and used for inlaying the sealing strip. Reinforcing ribs and a polyamine foaming and insulating layer are arranged in the door panel. The door panel flexibly abuts against the sealing strip in the annular groove and is connected with the door frame through the hinges. The door frame is fixed to a unit box of the air handling unit through the bolts assemblies. The inspection door is high in structural strength and good in sealing effect, the thermal insulating performance of the door panel is good, and effective operation of the air handling unit can still be guaranteed after the inspection door is used for a long term.
