The invention provides a section material for vehicle and boat interior decorative articles. The section material is prepared by mixing and mould pressing of the following components: 100 parts of melamine starch modified resin, 9-14 parts of a curing agent, 0.3-0.5 part of a defoaming agent, 0.5-1 part of a soft enhancing agent, 0.01-0.03 part of a coupling agent, 5-8 parts of an enhancing agent, 18-25 parts of a filling agent, and 0-10 parts of a color masterbatch. The section material provided by the invention has the advantages of no burning, high-temperature resistance, no toxicity and low smoke during burning, UV resistance, impact resistance, and good toughness, and is a new green, environment-friendly and energy-saving material for the vehicle and boat interior decorative articles and fittings.
