The invention relates to a novel insulating ring which comprises an insulating ring I and an insulating ring II. The upper end of the insulating ring I is provided with a conical surface, and the lower end surface is provided with an annular groove. The upper end surface of the insulating ring II is provided with an annular boss which is combined with the annular groove. The upper end of the insulating ring is provided with the conical surface, thereby realizing no carbon slag residue. Combination of a recessed surface and a projected surface is utilized at the combination part between the insulating rings. A carbon atmosphere does not easily enter an interface between the annular groove and the annular boss, thereby reducing carbonization rate and ensuring high insulating performance.
