The invention discloses a vehicle-mounted Z-shaped lifting device used for ultrahigh voltage CVT verification and a method. The device comprises a Z-shaped platform, wherein the lower end of the Z-shaped platform is used for placement of an upper grade of an in-series connected standard voltage transformer; the higher end of the Z-shaped platform is used to place a main resonance electric reactor; a height difference between the lower end of the Z-shaped platform and the higher end of the Z-shaped platform is equal to a height difference between the upper grade of the in-series connected standard voltage transformer and the main resonance electric reactor; a lift is placed under the higher end of the Z-shaped platform; the lower end of the Z-shaped platform and the higher end of the Z-shaped platform are separately connected to a supporting device; and after equipment is transported to a test field, the Z-shaped lifting platform is unfolded to a test height through control of vertical motion of the lifter, 1000 kV ultrahigh voltage CVT verification equipment can be placed at a test through simple wiring and installation of a grading ring, and lifting installation is not needed. The device and method have the advantages that operational courses are simple and reliable, and working efficiency is high. The device and method are very applicable to on-site verification of a 1000 kV ultrahigh voltage transformer.
