The invention discloses an SAP platform based monitoring method and monitoring system for an interface and a system. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring interface data and server system data required to be monitored by an SAP platform; according to the importance levels of monitoring points, configuring monitoring levels of monitored interface and server system; configuring monitoring role user groups; configuring monitoring content and a role relationship of corresponding monitoring superintendents; allocating the role user groups to monitoring items; configuring early warning data of the monitoring items; performing configuration in different early warning modes, and according to different time intervals, configuring an early warning frequency; configuring specific monitoring content for the monitoring items; storing appeared early warning messages and solutions to a knowledge base; and for monitored information, sending the early warning information according to the monitoring levels. According to the monitoring method and system, existing or potential problems of the SAP system and peripheral application systems can be discovered in time, and real-time reminding or alarming is performed, so that it is ensured that the system has good performance for daily business processing.
