The invention provides a high temperature-resistant low concentration guar gum weighted fracturing fluid and an application thereof. Raw materials of the high temperature-resistant low concentration guar gum weighted fracturing fluid comprise 100 parts by volume of a sodium nitrate-containing salt solution, 0.2-0.65 parts by mass of guar gum and/or a guar gum derivative, 0.01-0.1 part by mass of a cosolvent, 1-2 parts by mass of a high temperature synergist, 0.5-2 parts of a pH value adjusting agent, and 0.2-1 part by mass of a cross-linking agent, wherein volume parts and mass parts adopt mL:g as reference. The invention also provides the application of the high temperature-resistant low concentration guar gum weighted fracturing fluid in high temperature reservoir fracturing of deep wells and/or ultra deep wells. The use concentration of a guar gum densifier in the fracturing fluid is low, and the fracturing fluid still has excellent high temperature resistance, and can resist 150DEG C and even 160DEG C or above.
