The invention discloses a preparation method of industrial-grade calcium oxide. The high-purity calcium oxide is prepared by taking ardealite as a raw material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) drying and crushing; (2) removing impurities; (4) neutralizing; (5) filtering and drying; (6) mixing and grinding; and (7) calcining. The preparation method of the industrial-grade calcium oxide, provided by the invention, is simple and convenient to operate and easy to realize; and the high-purity industrial-grade calcium oxide is prepared by taking the industrial waste material, namely the ardealite, as the raw material through a reasonable impurity removing process, so that the reutilization value of the waste material is improved, the environmental pollution is reduced and the practical significance is relatively great.
