The invention discloses a non-intrusive washing machine operation identification method based on real-time mean power frequency domain analysis. The method comprises: sampling the voltage and the current of a main power input wire within a certain sampling frequency range to form a voltage sampling sequence u and a current sampling sequence i; calculating a real-time mean power sequence P at the main power input wire within a certain calculation time window; selecting a group of samples of the real-time mean power sequence P for fast Fourier transform to obtain an amplitude result sequence and a frequency result sequence of the real-time mean power sequence P; and judging whether a washing machine is started or not according to the amplitude result sequence and the frequency result sequence of the real-time mean power sequence P. The non-intrusive washing machine operation identification method based on real-time mean power frequency domain analysis can accurately perceive the operation of the washing machine and provide a technical support for non-intrusive identification of the washing machine.
