The flame-retardant building formwork is manufactured with, by weight, 50-60 parts of polypropylene, 20-30 parts of glass fiber and 5-15 parts of expanded graphite. The manufacturing method comprises the steps that the high-temperature expanded graphite is selected; blanking is carried out according to the weight ratio of polypropylene to the glass fiber to the expanded graphite =(50-65):(20-30):(5-15), and equipment programs are set; threaded rod mixing is carried out at the temperature of 200 DEG C-250 DEG C; mould pressure forming is carried out, the mould pressure is 800 T-2000 T/m<2>, and the mould temperature is 20 DEG C-50 DEG C; the pressure is kept, and finally a mould is opened to take out the formwork.
