The invention relates to a central burner for multi-fuel, multi-lance burner systems, having a central lance which has an inner pipe and an outer pipe. The inner pipe and the outer pipe form an annular gap duct. Multiple outer lances are arranged around the central lance. A funnel-like mixing device is provided in the elongation of the annular gap duct in the region of the end of the inner pipe. Said funnel-like mixing device, in its wall, has openings for the throughflow of combustion media. The outer lances each have a nozzle which, along the lateral circumferential surface, has openings arranged asymmetrically.
