The invention discloses a development adaptability solving and evaluating method for a power system load side model. In a three-dimension solving method, a load model integrated dimension, a new-technology energy-saving development dimension and a multi-time section dimension are introduced, and a three-dimension joint solving model is built sequentially; and in an adaptability evaluating method, multiple safety stability indexes are combined to execute specific operation and processing, a unified evaluating set is built, and in a load structure parameter development mode and a load model different-voltage level equivalent mode, integrated evaluation on the system safety stability level is realized. Through execution of the method of the invention, load model structure parameters which are changed along with economy, technology and time sections can be effectively calculated, and scientific and reasonable evaluation and assistant decision making can be provided in the power system safety stability analysis field involving load side changes.
