A handle apparatus comprises a case, a first positioning base, a second positioning base, a handle and a return mechanism. The case is provided with an accommodation space. The first positioning base and the second positioning base are disposed at the case. The handle is provided with a transmission shaft, pivoted to the case via the transmission shaft and arranged in the accommodation space in a threaded manner. The return mechanism is arranged in the accommodation space and comprises a positioning plat. The positioning plate comprises a body, a stopping piece and a positioning piece. The stopping piece and the positioning piece are arranged on the body. The positioning plate of the return mechanism optionally engages with the first positioning base or the second positioning base for making the handle apparatus optionally disposed at a left-hand swing door or a right-hand swing door.
