The invention discloses a handling method for an ultra-high voltage DC blocking received end. According to the handling method, a power grid in a province is provided with a province regulation center, a city regulation center and a country tri-level regulation center, the province regulation center is used for issuing a handling method instruction after a DC blocking fault occurs in an ultra-high voltage DC power grid, and accident handling is developed by two stages; in 30 minutes at a first stage after an accident, supports of surrounding provinces are applied to a regional regulation branch center by rapidly adding standby power grids in the province, or an overload and ultra-limit situation is rapidly eliminated by simultaneously adopting a means of current braking and limiting of the power grid in the province; and from 30 minutes to 2 hours at a second stage after the accident, the power of a cross-provincial connection line is controlled mainly by applying cross-provincial accident support, electricity purchasing out of the province and the means of accident current braking and limiting, spinning reserve is recovered, and power generation and utilization balance is ensured. By the handling method, the power grid of the whole region can be ensured to safely and stably run after ultra-high voltage DC is accessed, the electric energy quality and the service level are improved, and the influence on user power supply and device by the ultra-high voltage DC accident is reduced to the greatest extent.
