According to the following technical scheme, the automatic guide sorting system comprises sorting vehicles and further comprises goods shelves used for storing goods and a general control center; roadways where the sorting vehicles travel are formed between the goods shelves; task lists are generated by the general control center and sent to the sorting vehicles through a communication device; each sorting vehicle comprises a display device, a guide device and a locating device; and the display devices are used for displaying the task lists sent to the sorting vehicles by the general control center. By the adoption of the automatic guide sorting system and method, the goods in a storehouse can be intelligently sorted, sorting efficiency is improved, the storehouse is barely transformed, cost is low, and implementation is facilitated.
