The method comprises the following steps that sugarcane is planted in an equal line spacing mode, wherein the line space ranges from 0.9 m to 1.3 m; after major hilling of the sugarcane, the sugarcane is inclined in a face-to-face mode when the plant height reaches 1-1.5 m; the sugarcane in N+2 lines serves as a planting unit, stalks of the two lines of sugarcane on the outer sides of each unit are inclined towards the middle in a face-to-face mode, an included angle ranging from 30 degrees to 50 degrees is formed between the stalks of the sugarcane and the ground, and the N lines of sugarcane in the middle is maintained in the original state, wherein N is equal to 0 or 1; a planting area with the sugarcane in consecutive repeated face-to-face inclination is formed by the multiple planting units. By means of the technical scheme, the sugarcane is inclined in the face-to-face mode and supports each other, and thus the wind resisting capability of the sugarcane is enhanced; the spaces between the units are large, wind can easily pass through, and thus the domino type stacking phenomenon occurring when the sugarcane lodges can be effectively avoided; the yield of the sugarcane can be easily increased, accumulation of sugar can be easily promoted, and mechanized harvesting of the sugarcane is facilitated.
