The present invention relates to a molded article which has a layer comprising a resin composition, wherein the resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin and a barrier resin. In the molded article, the layer comprising the resin composition forms such a layer structure that the barrier resin is dispersed as a thin-film-like dispersed phase extending in one direction in a matrix composed of the thermoplastic resin, and the ratio of the aspect ratio (a) of the dispersed phase comprising the barrier resin in a part of the layer which is located around the surface layer of the layer to the aspect ratio (b) of the dispersed phase comprising the barrier resin in a center part of the layer as observed in the thickness direction, i.e., (a)/(b), is 2.0 or less. Thus, provided is a molded article having a layer which comprises a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and a barrier resin and has a dispersed structure that enables an excellent barrier property to be exerted even when the layer is a single layer.
