The invention discloses a microwave heating device and method for leaching vanadium from stone coal through sulfuric acid. The microwave heating device comprises a feeding mechanism, an airtight microwave resonant cavity and a nonmetal pipe vertically penetrating the microwave resonant cavity. A plurality of microwave sources used for generating microwaves are arranged on the periphery of the microwave resonant cavity. The upper end of the nonmetal pipe is connected with a middle hopper which is provided with an air sucking outlet used for air sucking. A discharging port of the feeding mechanism is communicated with the middle hopper. The method includes the steps of feeding, microwave heating, natural curing, water normal-temperature leaching and filtering to obtain a vanadium water solution. The microwave heating device and method have the beneficial effects of being high in heating rate, even in heating, small in pollution, good in corrosion resistance and capable of increasing the vanadium leaching rate, reducing acid consumption and energy consumption.
