A relay protection information data collection and uploading method classifies relay protection device information according to signal types. A relay protection device and a fault wave recorder in a station are connected into an integrated monitoring system through a station control layer network. A monitoring host generates a file from online monitoring information of relay protection. Factory-station-end relay protection information is transmitted to a scheduling end according to importance levels and types in three ways including signal point transmission, direction alarm transmission and file transmission. File data of the fault wave recorder in the station are transmitted to the scheduling end through file transmission. The power network scheduling end employs different data collection methods to achieve comprehensive application of the relay protection information on the scheduling end. The method solves the problem that for a long time, relay protection device information transmission is unstable and information identification can only be accomplished by specialists. The method avoids the problem of scheduling end information "flooding" caused by a large amount of redundant data and finds a feasible novel path for practical usage of relay protection device data.
