The invention discloses an Internet-based power equipment fault diagnosis and evaluation method comprising the following steps: (1) a worker inputs the fault information of current power equipment to a client, and the client forwards the fault information of the current power equipment to a server; (2) the server generates keyword information according to the fault information of the current power equipment, selects N technicians, and forwards the fault information of the current power equipment to clients of the selected N technicians; and (3) the selected N technicians resolve the fault of the current power equipment and forward the resolving information to the client of the worker through the server, and the worker removes the fault of the power equipment according to the resolving information of the selected N technicians. A power equipment fault can be diagnosed and removed by combining the Internet and a power system.
