The invention provides a roller safety control system. The roller safety control system mainly comprises a roller safety control instrument. A rotating speed metering device is arranged on a roller, and a steel wire rope of a traveling system is connected with a tensiometer. The roller safety control instrument comprises a PLC controller, and the PLC controller is electrically connected with the tensiometer, the rotating speed metering device, a roller emergent brake mechanism, a clutch mechanism and a speed reducing mechanism, and monitors and displays the parameters of pigging operation in real time. When speed and height reach preset values, control action, such as alarming, speed reducing and braking, is made on ultralimit conditions, and safety accidents that a runner wagon bumps up and down during pigging operation, a steel wire rope, during swabbing operation, is twisted, jumps out of a groove and is broken, and a swabbing tool jumps up can be effectively prevented from occurring. The roller safety control system is small in integral structure, is high in intelligent degree, exerts intelligent and high-automation capability after being applied on a tractor hoist, greatly improves the operation quality, and reduces the labor intensity of operators. Meanwhile, the roller safety control system also provides important guarantee for the safety level improvement of pigging and swabbing operation.
