The invention discloses a low-cost laying hen feed which consists of the following components in parts by weight: 20 to 40 parts of a compound microbial agent, 20 to 40 parts of lipase, 22 to 44 parts of an additive, 5 to 15 parts of methionine, 4 to 8 parts of clove oil, 500 to 600 parts of smashes of corns with cobs and 250 to 400 parts of bran. After being uniformly stirred in water, the materials are rolled into a device for granulation by a mincing machine; the diameter of the granular chicken feed is 3 to 4mm. The low-cost laying hen feed is simple in proportioning and easy and feasible; the problems of waste of home-made chicken feeds in a chicken farm and influence on the environment sanitation are solved, and the expense of the chicken farm can be saved.
